From a heartfelt Easter Sunday braai in Yeoville to an action-packed day with children in Klipgat in the North West Province, the WSB Cares initiative once again showcased the power of community support and meaningful human connection.
Easter Sunday at Mother Teresa’s Home in Yeoville
On Easter Sunday, the WSB team joined the incredible community at Mother Teresa’s Home for a special day of food, laughter and fellowship.
More than 120 people came together, including:
- The nuns and staff at the home
- Patients and residents
- Youth connected to the organisation
- Families and volunteers
The atmosphere was filled with warmth, gratitude and celebration as everyone enjoyed a traditional braai and spent quality time together during the Easter weekend.
A massive thank you goes to the dedicated braai masters, who worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure every meal was prepared to perfection.
The event was about far more than food — it was about creating moments of joy, inclusion and dignity for every person present.
Bringing Smiles to Klipgat
Just two days later, the WSB Cares team made an early-morning journey to Klipgat in the North West Province for another special outreach initiative.
What was expected to be a gathering for around 150 children quickly turned into something even bigger, as more than 200 excited children arrived ready for a day filled with fun and celebration.
The day delivered unforgettable memories as the children:
- Enjoyed meals together
- Played football
- Danced and celebrated
- Took part in an exciting Easter egg dash
The energy and excitement throughout the day perfectly captured the spirit of Easter and highlighted the positive impact community-driven initiatives can have on young lives.
