WSB CARES BOXING DAY

WSB Cares Spreads Christmas Cheer

WSB Cares Spreads Christmas Cheer at Mother Teresa’s, Yeoville

Published by World Sports Betting – WSB Cares

At World Sports Betting, giving back is not a seasonal gesture — it is part of who we are. This Boxing Day, the WSB Cares team once again had the privilege of visiting Mother Teresa’s Home in Yeoville, continuing a long-standing relationship built on compassion, support and shared humanity.

What followed was a day filled with warmth, laughter and meaningful connection — a true reminder of the power of community.

A Boxing Day with Purpose

While many families were still enjoying the festive break, the WSB Cares team gathered in Yeoville with one simple aim: to celebrate Christmas with those who give and receive care every single day.

Together with the patients, staff and the dedicated Sisters and Nuns, we hosted a festive Christmas braai, preparing and serving hearty, home-cooked food for everyone to enjoy. The smell of the braai, the sound of conversation and the shared smiles turned the day into something truly special.

Sharing More Than Just a Meal

Beyond the food, the day was about connection and kindness. Gifts were shared with patients and caregivers, small tokens intended to bring joy and remind everyone that they are seen, valued and appreciated.

For many of our team members, spending time speaking with the residents and staff was the most meaningful part of the visit — moments of conversation that go far beyond any material gift.

A Relationship Built on Care

WSB’s relationship with Mother Teresa’s in Yeoville spans many years, and each visit strengthens our respect for the incredible work done within its walls. The dedication shown daily by the Sisters, Nuns and staff — offering care, dignity and compassion to those most in need — continues to inspire us.

These are not once-off visits. They are part of an ongoing commitment to stand alongside organisations that uplift communities through love, service and humanity.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on the Boxing Day visit, we are reminded that true impact comes from showing up consistently, listening, and sharing time — not just resources.

WSB Cares remains committed to supporting causes that matter and to using our platform to make a positive difference, especially where compassion is needed most.

To the patients, staff and Sisters of Mother Teresa’s: thank you for welcoming us once again. We look forward to many more moments of shared joy in the years to come.
