This Mandela Day, World Sports Betting Cares proudly joined forces with the incredible team at Adventures in Wonderland Nursery School to make a real difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Together, we brought warmth, kindness, and community spirit to the residents of Kya-Sands Informal Settlement, delivering vital support during one of the coldest times of the year.
A Blanket Drive That Made an Impact
As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social investment, WSB Cares concluded a successful Blanket Drive, donating warm beanies and cosy blankets to families in need. The initiative was met with heartfelt appreciation, providing comfort and warmth during Gauteng’s icy winter evenings.

This campaign wouldn’t have been possible without the love and effort from the staff and families at Adventures in Wonderland Nursery School, who went above and beyond for Mandela Day. Their little learners, with the help of dedicated staff, lovingly prepared 1,000 peanut butter and jam sandwiches, which were handed out alongside toys, clothing, and tins of food.
Together, we created a holistic care package that went far beyond just feeding and warming—our goal was to restore dignity and spread joy.
