MANDELA DAY

WSB Cares Visits Little Eden

Bringing Colour and Joy this Mandela Day – WSB Cares Visits Little Eden
Published by World Sports Betting | Mandela Day CSI Initiative | 18 July

This Mandela Day, the WSB Cares team embraced the spirit of giving back by spending time with the incredible residents and staff of Little Eden, a sanctuary of compassion and care for individuals with profound intellectual disabilities.

In a heartwarming display of community and creativity, our team spent the day planting flowers in one of Little Eden’s gardens – adding bursts of colour and life to the space, creating a brighter, more joyful environment for residents to enjoy. 🌸🌼

But the day didn’t stop there – we also rolled up our sleeves to paint a wall filled with superhero characters, bringing imagination, inspiration and fun to another area of the facility. It was a small way to say thank you to Little Eden for their extraordinary work and to bring a smile to the faces of the residents who remind us every day what true strength looks like.

About Little Eden

Founded with a deep belief in the dignity and humanity of every person, Little Eden is a registered non-profit organisation [001-827 NPO] and Public Benefit Organisation [PBO No.930/0000/03]. They provide lifelong care for over 300 children and adults with profound intellectual disabilities at two residential homes in Edenvale and Bapsfontein.

Despite an average intellectual age of just one year, Little Eden’s residents shine with joy, resilience, and unconditional love. They are cared for in thoughtfully grouped settings based on individual needs, with full access to nursing, therapy, stimulation, and spiritual support.

A Legacy of Love and Service

Mandela Day serves as a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can bring great change. At World Sports Betting, we are proud to continue the legacy of Nelson Mandela through meaningful CSI projects like this, uplifting communities and spreading hope wherever we can.
