WSB Wellness Day
Last week, World Sports Betting’s Head Office Wellness Day brought our team together for an unforgettable celebration of health, wellness, and community. Held on Thursday, 14 November, the event was packed with activities designed to relax, rejuvenate, and prepare us for the festive season ahead.
Here’s a look at the highlights of the day:
Relaxation and Rejuvenation
- The incredible Office Angels worked their magic with soothing head and shoulder massages, helping us release the year-long tension. Whether at desks or in the designated relaxation area, their treatments left everyone feeling refreshed.
Wellness and Fitness Activities
- The One Stop Wellness smoothie station was a hit, where employees jumped on bikes to blend their own healthy drinks—talk about multitasking for wellness!
- Vision Crew offered eyesight tests, ensuring everyone could see the brighter future ahead, while nurses provided free medical screenings to keep our health on track.
- The energetic team from Virgin Active got hearts pumping with both high-intensity workouts and calming yoga sessions. Don’t forget, all WSB employees now enjoy a 20% discount on Virgin Active memberships!
Mind and Financial Health
- The EAP team provided valuable financial advice to help everyone prepare for the festive season without stress. From budgeting tips to planning for Black Friday, their guidance ensured we’re all financially fit.
- Mental health was also a key focus, reminding us of the importance of balance and self-care.
Giving Back
- The SANBS blood donation drive provided a special opportunity to give back. With expert support and care, many of our team members rolled up their sleeves to save lives.
